Get Involved

There are so many ways to get involved at Heritage Museum! In addition to participating in events, public hours, and general museum happenings, consider becoming a volunteer or joining one of our amazing auxiliary groups.

Volunteer

Volunteer programs at HMOC are active! We are excited to invite our amazing volunteers back through our gates! We very much appreciate all of the wonderful work our volunteers assist us with, we need your help!

We will continue to have COVID procedures in place. Masks must be worn at all times, temperatures will be checked upon arrival, and 6 feet of distance must be kept between volunteers/volunteer “households”.

Orange County Blacksmith Guild

The Orange County Blacksmith Guild conducts classes and demonstrates blacksmithing techniques at HMOC. The replica 19th century shop is currently closed due to a fire. Plans to rebuild are underway. If you would like to donate for this rebuild, please visit our website https://heritagemuseumoc.org/ , click on the donate button and designate "blacksmith" on your donation.

Victorian Tea Society of Orange County

The Victorian Tea Society (VTS) acts as a fund-raising auxillary for Heritage Museum. They host several themed teas and events throughout the year to help raise funds for HMOC's educational programs.
